The LP albums chosen for Feireiss collage work are iconic and influential, notable for their genre-trancending approaches. The LP as medium allows the imagery to signify far outside of itself to pop culture at large. In medias res, the story starts not with a narrative, but with the medium itself. The tactile nature of the collages foregrounds the physicality of the medium and lends a new physical quality to notions of music and memory.
