A skateboarding school in Kabul, an open-air cinema in Jenin, murals in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro and a public garden in Paris – Testify! The Consequences of Architecture presents a selection of projects that seek to improve social, economic and environmental conditions through architectural and artistic means. Using flexible, integrative planning processes, architects, urban planners and other creatives are levying the transformative power of architecture to meet the complex challenges of our time. Through the personal impressions of diverse stakeholders – construction workers, students, journalists, photographers, academics and politicians – Testify! highlights the projects and their impact from the perspective of the users.

The exhibition has been originally conceived for the Netherlands Architecture Institute (NAI), Rotterdam and will be on shown in slightly smaller scale at the Deutsches Architektur Zentrum (DAZ), Berlin. Various events will accompany the exhbition. For full program see attached document.
