The exhibition and performance Scratch ‘n’ Cut devotes itself to the artistic process of remixing and collage, as the interplay of diverse media, contents and styles. Thereby Scratch ‘n’ Cut combines music, film, art and architecture to a spectacular spatial installation. For this unique MADE project, curator Lukas Feireiss invited a group of internationally reknown artists and creative forces from  different disciplines and generations worldwide.

Legendary dub music icon Lee Scratch Perry meets the british Videoartist collective Eclectic Method and the installationartists Daniel Gonzalez and Jonas Liveröd from Argentina and Sweden. Together with the MADE team and Studio Lukas Feireiss they develop an exciting space-and sound environment, a Gesamtkunstwerk that dissolves the borders between artist, artwork and audience in an energetic synthesis of the arts.

In its excessive diversity  Scratch ‘n’ Cut stands in stark contrast to prevalent intellectual minimalism in the contemporary arts. It consciuosly turns towards a new, playfull eclecticism, and emerges as the living product of the the creative clash of multiple artistic, viewpoints, backgrounds and energies.
